About Christine

Christine has been practicing law for 21 years in the Fresno area.

Christine received her undergraduate degree from California State University, Fresno in speech communication summa cum laude in 1993. In 1997, she obtained her Juris Doctorate from Santa Clara School of Law and was admitted to the California State Bar the same year.

Christine began her career as a Deputy Attorney General, in the Criminal Appeals, Writs, and Trials Division. Christine also has a vast range of experience in handling civil and criminal appeals and writs arising from various areas of the law including family law.

Christine’s primary focus is family law.  Christine’s business experience makes her particularly adept at dividing assets, including family businesses.  Christine has a broad range of litigation experience in areas including family law, agricultural law, business law, premise liability, personal injury including wrongful death, and dissolution of partnerships and corporations.

Christine stays on the cutting-edge of her profession as a Fresno lawyer through memberships in several legal and professional organizations. Among these are the State Bar of California, Fresno County Bar Association, Fresno County Women’s Lawyers, and California Women Lawyers.

Mission & Philosophy

Christine understands that issues involving marriage, children, and finances are deeply personal.  She knows that every situation is unique, so will spend the time to listen to your concerns and help you come up with a plan that is right for you and your family.  Christine is committed to helping families get through divorce and custody arrangements while preserving relationships.

When a household is divided, the financial impact can be devastating.  Christine will ensure that assets (the family home, retirement accounts, vehicles, and personal property) as well as debts are fairly divided.  She will make sure that all factors related to child and spousal support are considered by the court so that support is properly awarded.

During legal proceedings, unexpected situations often arise leading clients to feel stress and anxiety from not knowing the legal process.  Christine knows that there is nothing worse for a client than being left in the dark, so she will promptly return calls in order to address your concerns.

A Situation Gone Wrong - Christine Levin is the best. This I know first hand. She has been my lawyer for several years now, and I have never been disappointed with the outcome. I hired Christine Levin to help me with an unlawful detainer case. She was on top of everything from the very beginning, to our day in court and after. She was quick to action and very open and aboveboard with my case. I will continue to use Christine Levin as needed, with great confidence.
